Mind the gap, Victoria.

It's so weird that the first thing I'm attracted too when browsing the Rimmel London nail polish's is my favorite color and has my name in the products name. I wasn't intending to buy anything really just looking as you do and instantly pick this colour up and had to buy it and I love it so much. I have a thing about blue, every summer its my favorite colour. Its in their 60 seconds range and obviously its called Mind the gap, Victoria. Its says that you only need one coat but I definitely needed two but non the less such a gorgeous colour and Its staying in my favorites.

Ted baker Body spray.

Again I wasn't intending to buy anything but I just can't help myself sometimes, my friend was actually looking at them as well and so I went for it. Its was only after I tried to find it online that I found out that this one is called Butterfly wings and it has bergamot and red fruit in it and smells amazing, they also do a Treasured Orchid and Origami. Its bag size like a impulse spay so you can carry it in your bag and give it a spritz when you need a freshen up and leaves you smelling gorgeous.

According to Plan.

This was supposed to be an outfit post, but when I went out yesterday to take pictures I forgot one vital thing.......spear batteries.

So this is going to replace it.



My nails have been looking and feeling miserable lately due to the cold weather coming in. so I've decided its time to not so much start again with them just cut them back to fresh and happier nails. I'm going to do this with my favorite nail aid/nail strengthener O.P.I's Nail Envy. (This is not a product review just how I look after my nails.)

 As you can see I seem to bite only one nail?!  My nails are getting a bit to long and weak at the ends. I'm just going to cut them all back to one length, then remove all the ridges.

Now I'm going to use PALMER'S Cocoa butter formula, which I'm sure most of you are familiar with, just to give them back some moisture and make my hands feel soft. 

Now I apply a generous coat of the nail envy and wait until its dry and then another coat every week as stated on the bottle.

I've used this before as you can see by the bottle, last year in the summer a couple of weeks before I went on holiday and I was also taking hair,nail and skin supplements. My nails were like rocks for once in my life. Yes I really love using this it leaves my nails feeling like I actually have nails.

Fantasy Christmas Wish List

After reading @IAmKirstieKins fantasy wish list post you can find here, I decided to do my own :)

It's just a list of things I really want but definitely not going to get for Christmas so enjoy.

1. Audi R8 coupé.

No, never going to happen, can't even drive :D but hay I can dream right :).



2. A Missguided wardrobe

Missguided recently brought out their "You Better Not Pout" look book for their Christmas campaign and Omg I want everything in it !! Have a look yourself if you haven't already :D

I'm not copying Kirstie I promise! I would love a dog in general and there are so many breeds I would love to have, but a pug or frenchie would make my life complete :) there just so cute and small I could take it anywhere!!

Books I've Half Read

Do you ever find it hard to stick to one book? 

Probably not, that's why I'm crazy and you’re most likely not. :)

So beginning of this year end of last, I decided to start a book collection, at first it consisted of a Collins English dictionary, a Holy Bible (given to me by my granddad) and the first and second books from the twilight saga, which to this day I have never read and don't own any more never really got into twilight.

Which brings me to my next point; I now have a small book collection of, wait for it.....books I am half way through. Yep that probably annoys a lot of you, sorry about that :)

So yeah out of the twenty odd books I own only six I have read completely (I know, I know sorry) and only a few I have read twice.

I don’t know! I can start reading a book, then leave it and just sometimes I can pick it back up and not have to read back any pages to understand what I’m reading and vice-versa sometimes I have to read back from the beginning.

Some of the books I've not even opened to try and get into! And others I have not been able to put down, like Dawn O’porter’s “paper aeroplanes” I loved it maybe because I am female, but it was such a captivating story about two completely different girls that end up bff’s. (FWI I’m shit at reviews so...no) and yes because I’m female I jumped (or rather I wish I did) on the Mr Gray train and read the “Fifty shades of Grey” trilogy by E L James no more said ;)

 I just think "I want to read them all at once" but then like half way through one I get distracted and then try pick it back up later on, and not want to read that one anymore so I pick up another.

The problem is I have a thing for “Waterstones” a massive book shop and whenever I walk past I have to go in and spend an hour looking around and either buy books or make lists of books I NEED to buy which is how my book collection started. And I am happy with that tbh.

I plan to carry on growing my book collection, although I’m not terribly sure that’s a great idea but hay we all live and learn right?

Asos surprise

This was a general surprise to me! :)

My Best Friend (is my cat)

My cat is my best friend (I do have human friends obviously).

Tabs and her twin sister 

See Crazy cat !!

 So I thought I would quickly explain my love of cats, I've grown up with them so I feel like I click with cats really easily like the crazy cat lady down the road, but I only have three :). All my cats I have/had I've seen from birth to present so I feel like they are part of the family and when one passes away its like losing someone close to you. I am an animal person and we did have a dog once but cats have always been my favorite, I don't really know why, I just think they are cute and fascinating little things and would love to be in a cats body for a day like a book I read when I was younger. I've always liked cat characters in film and TV like "The Cheshire cat" Alice in wonderland, "Bagpuss" from Bagpuss and "tigger" Winnie the poo.

OK back to my best friend.

Her name in tabs or tabbather because she is a tabby, She is about six of seven years old (40-44 human years), she is one of  twins but sadly her sister went missing last year, she is a slim, elegant little thing.

Why is she my best friend?  

She does this really weird thing where she will pick something up like a teddy or random thing she finds in the garden in her mouth and meow like crazy until you give her attention, she will constantly headbutt you until you give her attention and that reminds me of myself and what I do to get attention, Obviously I don't meow with something in my mouth or go around headbutting people but you get my drift,  I sit and talk to her (okay I am definitely sounding like a crazy cat lady now) and she keeps me company and makes me happy and I really do love her as well as my other two cats,

 but me and tabbs have an even deeper bond, I actually didn't have her and her sister when they were very little (birth) but my auntie did and it just so happens my best friend at the time was my cousin and I would spend a vast amount of time around their house, and guess what we did (play vets of course) and the kittens were our patients (okay best stop don't want to embarrass my cousin) so I was spending all of my weekends around my cousin's house playing vets or something like that :)

And then it came to a point where the kittens were old enough to be sold on and I watched kittens being given to people, (pauses as I think about how close I missed the chance) and I didn't want to my "princess" to be given away so my mum decided (heavily by me crying) to take the twins home and here we are six or seven years later :) 

Yes she can be crazy sometimes,  yes her claws hurt a lot!! And yes cat food stinks (and when it gets on your hand yuk!!)

But my favourite animal in the whole wide world will always be cats :)
And this one is MY best friend :3

My Love for Company Magazine

 

P.S I love it !

My love for company magazine started when buying my first copy back in February 2010, while doing media as an a-level. one of the tasks was to design from scratch a magazine any genre we pleased. Me, always wanting to be in the fashion industry chose to do a fashion/beauty high street magazine, armed with this information I took a trip to find content to take inspiration from, In a local "WHS" store my eyes stumbled upon it sticking out from the rest and my choice was made (Awh how cute ay?)

Since buying company all those years ago I absolutely love it (as you can tell) :). I have not managed to buy every copy since then but recently I have been a really good fan girl :D I still have that February copy and all that I have brought between then and now. Awwwwh!

        Why though you may ask ? :S

I don't honestly know, I guess it's because it was my first ever fashion/beauty magazine.........Like ever (sounds weird considering I just told you I wanted to be in the fashion industry :P). whenever I've brought similar magazines they've never really compared, although I still buy glamour magz occasionally.

One thing I love alot about company is there are so little adverts.......... don't get me wrong we all love adverts, like the new fragrances or "Barry M" products for example cos we adore them!! But when you buy a high end (not so cheap) magazine you (well I ) don't expect the whole thing to be pages of adverts. Yes I realize that most Brands depend on the consumer to see the advert and want to buy the product (that's how they make money ;) but when buying a magazine you love you would hope to find lots of things you like.......Like the biggest trend going, who's the new face on the scene or what print is in atm (you get my point ). You kinda wish you didn't have to look through 20+ pages of adverts in a row just to get what you want !! (okay rant over guys ;).

But most of all I like the content layout, it's clear to read (most helpful) pretty colours, interesting articles to read and look at, the style guide full of new and unique online shops and celebrity feature front cover and article...The list goes on......
